Candy Depew was a great speaker. She held my attention with her quirky pieces and her story. It's like she is really living the dream and I enjoyed hearing her process. I find her work inspiring. The only criticism of her work that I have is she needs to get rid of those diamonds. In one piece it is refreshing but in all the other re-occuring ones I would prefer if she found another shape or symbol. I feel like some of her work is also very graphic which could be applied in computer class.
